Sweet Violets
Viola sororiaA beautiful and carefree perennial that just seems to find a special place in everyone's hearts!
This flower is very giving with many, many blooms from the end of winter until winter rolls around again! Mine bloom before my daffodils!

- Water: Water until established (shows much new growth) and then only if the leaves seem a bit droopy.
- Sun: Full sun to shade. Blooms best in full sun.
- Soil: Mine like clay; many seem to do better when the soil is loose with composted organic matter.
- Feed: Feed an all purpose fertilizer (for blooming plants) or an organic tea. I never feed my violets so can only imagine the stunning results of a well fed Viola.
- Really likes to be mulched and crowded with its own kind.
- Looks stunning when crammed together with other Viola soroia in pots and various containers.
